            The Committee on Political Subdivisions moves to amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

            H. B. 2549–A BILL to amend and reenact §7-5-16 the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the preparation and publication of county financial statements; requiring financial statements to be prepared by October 15 each year; removing the publication requirement for financial statements; requiring counties to advertise the availability of financial statements; and requiring counties to make financial statements available to the public on their websites and at their primary offices at no cost.
